Founded on Pioneering

Why opt for custom marine solar?
- Seamless Integration: Wires located beneath solar panels allows for enhanced aesthetics and seamless integration. Fully walkable with non-slip and matte gloss finishing.
- Increased Efficiency: Engineered unique to your vessel. Bypass diode placement, and a wiring strategy that will lead to increased efficiency.

Our Approach to Custom Solar
For Service Partners:
We provide solar you can stand behind and on. Unlike traditional flexible panels ours are actually durable and do not become warranty headaches. Measure, plan and work with us to build your clients dreams. We're looking for professionals to join our growing approved service partner network.
For Liesure Boaters:
Offered exclusively through our Approved Service Partner network, you'll recieve the best solar panels on the market. Low profile and completely integrated. Our solar becomes a part of the vessel. Entirely walkable.
Unmanned Surface Vessel Solar
When performance matters and reliability is non-negotiable, we’re the partner of choice. Our solar solutions power mission-critical electronics on high-value equipment, where durability and precision are essential.
As composite specialists, we go beyond surface panels. We integrate solar directly into structural elements like rigid sail wings and hatch lids, turning passive surfaces into active power sources.
For USVs and autonomous systems, we work hands-on with your engineering team to design custom solar solutions that maximize energy yield across every unique form factor.
We don't stop at the water, ask about Aviation and Land Based Custom Solar.

Custom Solar FAQ
Q: What’s the efficiency of your panels?
Our panels use Maxeon Gen III solar cells at 24% efficiency, our technology reduces efficiency to 23.3%. On a full module basis panel including borders and spacing, efficiency is 21.4%. That’s 214W per square metre at peak output, it's industry leading. Other manufacturers only advertise the cell's efficiency not their actual panel's efficiency after adding various layers of plastic.
Q: How do your panels perform in overcast conditions?
Surprisingly well. Our panels generate electricity from visible light, not just direct sun. On cloudy days, output ranges between 20% and 60% of peak, depending on cloud density. Cooler temps can actually increase efficiency.
Q: What’s the expected lifespan of your solar panels?
Our Maxeon cells degrade at only 0.2% per year. The composite panels themselves are near-indestructible—comparable to a composite boat. They don’t need replacement unless damaged by extreme force. They can also be repaired and rebuffed like other composites.
Q: Will adhesives affect performance or lifespan?
Not at all. We use 3M 4200 marine adhesive, which permanently bonds the panel as part of the structure. For structural installations, we can also embed panels directly.
Q: How do the panels connect?
Custom panels feature rear-facing wiring and are daisy-chained into arrays. Arrays then feed MPPT controllers and batteries. We offer flexible routing to suit deck access and layout. Due to our increased use of bypass diodes we recommend series to stack voltages for increased efficiencies.
Q: What about cleaning during long cruises?
Rain does most of the work. Our marine-grade coating is self-cleaning. No need for frequent scrubbing, even in salt-heavy environments.
Q: Does salt buildup reduce output?
We haven’t formally tested this yet. However, salt wash-off from rain and the self-cleaning coating should mitigate performance loss.
Q: How do they handle heat? They're all black!
Maxeon cells are top of class in temperature performance, with a low -0.29%/°C power loss. Yes, our panels are black and get hot, but they shed heat quickly due to their low thermal mass and flush install. Wind or movement acts as a natural convection and keeps temps under control.
Q: What’s the typical output per day?
On sunny days, multiply rated wattage by 5 for daily output. A 100W panel reliably produces ~500Wh/day. In mixed conditions, expect 200–300Wh.
Q: How much does it cost?
Every install is unique. Pricing depends on area, energy demand, and system design. We’re happy to sign an NDA and start the quoting process.
Q: Can you support higher voltage systems?
Yes. While we typically work in 12V systems for simplicity, we design for up to 48V and beyond. Custom electronics are available for high-demand setups.
Q: Do you supply batteries or accessories?
We can. While our core product is solar, we offer sourcing for inverters, batteries, and controllers if needed.
Q: Is this system too complex for me?
Not at all. For DIY buyers, we offer guides, videos, and full documentation. For yacht owners, we partner with pros who handle everything start to finish. You choose how involved you want to be.
